The MK2 fence has a wider area for the ruler scale markings, making them clearer and easier to read. The markings are Metric / Imperial.
The option of the right-hand fence allows more support as well as the ability to make narrow cuts.
New improved laser markings - New laser technology now installed gives better markings than previously supplied fences.
Our specially designed fence system is ideal for use with our MFT Tops and ULTRA MFT Workstations, as well as Festool MFT Tops, bespoke tops, or any custom-made tops with a 20mm hole. It securely fixes your fence in place, enabling repeatable cuts while preserving valuable space behind the fence. This allows your MFT top to be positioned close to a wall, maximising your workspace efficiency.
Scroll down to the demonstration video below on how to use the Fence System.
Please note that the Quad Fence Dogs do not allow you to remove your fence by detaching it from the fence. These are more suited if you have your fence permanently positioned on your MFT.
If you require 3/4" Quad Fence Dogs® please add a note at the checkout before ordering.
All pieces are very well machined and all parts have great finish. I love the dual scale. I usually work in metric but imperial is how I first learned. Great set had everything I needed to bridge time until my new mft3 top arrives and the new quad hinge system from Benchdog arrives.

Wall-mounted?
Full set ordered early May. Received pleasant email asking if I'd ordered the correct one, as some people hadn't realised it's imperial/metric. Sometimes have to work in imperial.
Arrived quickly. Nicely packaged & nicely made - where figures are over the joints, there is no offset, and no sharp bits where there shouldn't be.
So, having opened & set it up, the big question - does it go on the wall or actually used on the table?
As i've only got a smallish table, one part is used on the "outfeed" side of the cut for extra support of the offcut (purchased an extra pair of Fence Dogs at the same time).
Easy to read markings and the 3 solid flags are very useful - means you can set up multiple sizes.
I joined two parts, markings side down to ensure flush surfaces, with 3 joiners (underside, lower back, then front), and Under Rail Support together, on a sheet of 10mm plate glass. Fence Dogs in the top back. Nothing moves.
Now that I've got the Precision Triangle, the Under Rail Support could do with graduations wrapping down the front edge, or at least to it, to make it easier to line up/set the PT. The PT is 6mm thick, the Under Rail is 9mm.
All in all, an excellent game changing kit, with great service from Ralph and his crew. Thank you

Awesome repeatability. Just make sure that instead of holding the adapter tight to your guide rail, pull away when securing to your guide rail, since during use the material will be doing the same. This will keep your calibration perfect!
