Supplied with New Pin Slot Kit

Our Hinge System allows you to attach it to all types of Multifunction Tables with 20mm holes and 96mm centres without having to attach it to an extrusion like the MFT3 from Festool or others using a variety of extruded aluminium profiles. (Slight adjustment is required for the MW1000, please leave a note when placing an order)

All that is required to set this up is to have some additional holes, which can be made with our 346-hole jig MK4 and a 4mm Hex Key, to tighten the quad dog bases.

Simple and easy to set up on the Job site, Workshop or Home hobby setup. 

Setting the holes for the hinge requires a max of 35mm from the edge and can be set with 32, 48 or 64mm from your first row of holes. This can be achieved with the 346-hole jig MK4.

To offer the best accuracy, the hinge systems will come with a pin slot & alignment pin and rail bolts, but additional rail track sets can also be purchased.

Accuracy adjustment can be made with one of our precision triangles, which are available here.

Excellent Piece Of Kit

I had been looking at purchasing this item for some time and now I have it I am very impressed.
I bought the Hinge Jig, 346 Quad Hole Jig and a Metric Fence Kit with Right Hand Support.
Using the 246 Jig to line up the additional holes was very straightforward as was mounting the Hinge Jig and Fence. It simplifies the process of making repeatable cuts on sheet material, as a School Technician that makes LOTS of cuts it saves me a lot of time and effort.
It was a very worthwhile investment for my workshop.

Need to speed up their dispatch times during sales

I ordered several items during the Black Friday sale on November 30th but didn't receive them until December 19th. This was particularly frustrating because December was a quieter time at work, and I had hoped to make good use of the tools during that period.

While Benchdog did notify me that there could be delays in dispatching items during sales, I assumed this would mean a few extra days beyond normal dispatch times—similar to my experiences with other manufacturers. However, it turned into nearly three weeks of silence before receiving any communication that my items were being dispatched. I was also told not to email and ask about dispatch times, which felt dismissive, especially given the long wait.

It would be helpful if Benchdog provided more regular updates during busy sales periods, such as weekly progress reports. On their website, everything I ordered was marked as "in stock," so I assumed the items only needed to be packed and shipped. If, instead, the products need to be made to order on their mills and lathes, I can understand why there would be delays, but this wasn’t communicated clearly on the website.

Clearer communication and managing customer expectations would go a long way in improving the experience.

Aside from that the hinge itself is a great bit of kit, A few smear marks on the annodising but the mechanism is smoother and stable. Would be handy to get a paper template for the hole positions for those that didn't want to spend the extra £££ on the 321 jig
