Pre-Orders
When placing a pre-order, please be aware that all items in your cart will be shipped together once the pre-ordered item becomes available. If you need any items before the pre-order, please place a separate order.
Shipping to the EU
Since the UK has left the EU, customs charges now apply. You are responsible for paying any VAT and courier fees imposed by your country. We do not charge UK VAT on orders to the EU.
If you refuse to pay customs charges, your order will be returned to us, and we will issue a refund for the order amount minus the original shipping charges and any other incurred fees.

Please note: All couriers may charge a processing fee. SimplyDuty aims to provide accurate and up-to-date information, but we cannot be held responsible for any inaccuracies in the data provided.
Delivery - UK
Our standard dispatch times are 2 to 3 working days; however, during busy sale periods, this may be longer.
Standard UK Mainland
- Orders up to 2 kg: Royal Mail Tracked 48 - £4.50
- Orders up to 2 kg: Royal Mail Tracked 24 - £5.50
- Orders over 2 kg: Courier - £9.60
Scotland & Highlands
- Non-Highlands: £9.60
- Scottish Highlands: £36.00. Please note with the highlands, shipping prices vary and if an underpayment has been made, we will need to contact you for for additional shipping fees
Customs
We do not cover local customs charges for international orders.
Delivery Costs
- Delivery costs are calculated during checkout.
- Add items to your basket and proceed to checkout.
- At checkout, we will calculate all delivery costs and taxes (if applicable) before payment.
- After payment, we will process your order and provide tracking details.

- US & Europe: 3-5 working days

Acceptance & Risk
Please inspect your order upon receipt and notify us within 24 hours if it is damaged, missing parts, or has other issues. Retain all packaging until you are satisfied with the items. Unless there is a defect, you will be responsible for any loss or damage that occurs after delivery. Claims for damage or loss cannot be made after this period, and Benchdogs Ltd will not be liable for any issues reported outside this timeframe.
Delivery Authorisation
We require a signature for courier deliveries to ensure delivery security. If you instruct us to deliver without a signature, we cannot accept responsibility or offer compensation if the item is lost or stolen. We will make reasonable efforts to locate the package, but our ability to resolve such issues is limited.

Process for lost/damaged parcels
Unfortunately, there are occasions when parcels may be lost or damaged in transit. In such cases, we are required to follow a specific claims process set by our couriers.
To proceed with a claim, we need photographic or video evidence clearly showing the external packaging and any damage to the product(s). We understand this may be inconvenient, but it is a requirement from the courier and essential for processing the claim. Please ensure this evidence is provided within 24 hours of receiving the parcel.
If the parcel appears visibly damaged upon delivery, we recommend either refusing the delivery or signing for it as “damaged” to support the claim.
Replacements will be sent once the courier has approved the claim. Please note that this may take some time, and we are unable to send replacements until we receive confirmation from the courier.
In some cases, products may be damaged in transit even if the outer packaging shows no visible signs of damage. We do not dispatch second-hand or used items unless you have specifically purchased a “seconds” product from our website.

Inaccurate Products
If you believe one of our products is inaccurate but do not have the means to test it precisely, the item will need to be returned to us for inspection. The initial return shipping cost is the responsibility of the customer.
If, upon inspection, the product is found to be outside of our specified tolerances, we will refund your return shipping cost and cover the cost of sending the replacement or corrected item back to you.
However, if the product is confirmed to be within our stated specifications and tolerances, no refund for shipping will be issued, and you will be responsible for the cost of having the item returned to you.
