Our Precision Triangle has been one of the most requested products to date and now comes with dual scale markings, on one side there are Metric and on the other side, there is imperial.

The Large Precision Triangle comes with many features, some old and some new, which are unique to our version.Ā Ā 

Features Include:

  • Marked angle markings, professionally engraved using state-of-the-art laser engraving equipment. All set out at 1-degree increments, with prominent markings at 5, 10, 15, 20, 22.5, 30, 40 and 45.

  • Metric and Imperial Scale Markings, laser engraved accurately within 20 microns

  • 20mm set holes at 96mm centres, the standard for MFT tops, ideal for ensuring your fence and track are at a perfect 90 degrees.

  • Setting up and edge pins.

  • Easy to remove side cheek with thumbscrews, eliminating tools to remove, no more looking for that hex key or screwdriver. The aluminium extruded cheek is for ease of use and able to be moved to all edges of the triangle.

  • Accurate within 20 microns as recordedĀ by our CMM machine, each Precision Triangle will be supplied with its own calibration report.

Precision CNC made in the UK with tooling plate aluminium and anodised with a Satin Finish Black finish.

OurĀ large precision triangle is lightweight and has a satin finish. Each edge of the precision triangle has metricĀ laser engraved markings and angled markings for accuracy.

The goal of this product was a practical but elegant design following our hexagon pattern design that is instantly recognisable to our brand.

Came very well packaged. Dog holes are extremely accurate. Have not tested measurement scales yet. Everything I have purchased from Benchdogs.uk.com has been well machined and surfaced and the markings are very readable.

450 dual triangle

Quality bit of kit! Came well packaged and when opened it didnā€™t disappoint. Felt ā€™solidā€™ in hand and on checking the angles were spot on. Looking forward to using it in my next project. I have bought from benchdogs previously and had the same experience. I recommend.

Flawless!

Iā€™ve been wanting a large precision triangle for a long time now and as Iā€™m putting together my new mft style workbench, the need for one became greater. I considered one from another company here in the states but Iā€™ve been so impressed with my other Benchdogs items that I went ahead and ordered it despite the shipping fees and time it would take. As I suspected, I wasnā€™t disappointed . The fit and finish are amazing. The quality and precision are outstanding. Attaching the lip and feeling how it lines up with the corner seamlessly gets me every time. Iā€™ve found so many uses for this other than checking that the rail hinge is perfectly square. Used it for my table saw fence and the accuracy of the jig I used to make the 20mm x 96mm hole grid. This weekend I made a large wood storage rack as well as the frame to a large workbench, using it more like a carpenterā€™s square. Itā€™s amazing having such a long reference for so many different projects and tools. One added bonus for the future is when Iā€™m finally all set up, using it for things rips in conjunction with the hinge and fence system. My kids are getting more and more interested in building and the whole system makes a safer way for my kids to help in the shop
