What can I say? Apart from wow what a brilliant piece of kit absolute quality wish I had purchased this sooner.
The table is excellent, and the delivery was very fast.
However, I was surprised and disappointed by the way I was treated as a customer.
Before my birthday, I asked in the website chat whether you offered a birthday discount. The chatbot replied that you did not. After I placed my order, however, I received a message saying that such a discount actually exists.
I contacted the manufacturer about this situation, but they said they could not verify whether I had really asked that question because it had been asked the previous month. Later, they informed me that they could not find my chat conversation and therefore refused to apply the discount.
The manufacturer acknowledged that the chatbot had been providing incorrect information and later corrected the chatbot’s response. Nevertheless, my request was still denied.

We are sorry that you feel disappointed with how this was handled. We do take these situations seriously, which is why we reviewed the available chat history and order records before responding.
Our website chat logs are stored, and where a customer has asked a question previously, we are able to look back and verify what was said. In this case, we could not find any record of a birthday discount being requested before the order was placed. Had we been able to verify that this question was asked and that incorrect information had been provided, we would of course have honoured the discount.
As a business, however, we do have to apply discounts fairly and consistently. We cannot retrospectively apply a discount where there is no record of the request being made before the order, as this would not be fair to other customers.
We do acknowledge that the chatbot information has since been reviewed and corrected to avoid any confusion going forward. We are sorry for any frustration caused, but we believe the matter was handled based on the information available to us at the time.

Works as intended, just wish it could store in its systainer spot with saw as original with saw fence does.
