necessary accessory for track saw crosscuts
I wanted a well built rail square for my Festool track saw but did not like the price of the competition. Sales rep at Rockler recommended I check out Benchdogs UK. I am glad I did. The rail square is very high quality and makes perfect square crosscuts. Two things to note - 1. the screws came loose after using it several times. I think this is due to the screws having friction against the inside of the rail and depending on which direction you are pushing or pulling, it could loosen them. I corrected this by using a little green locktite. 2. Do not expect this to square a long rip. If you are cutting an 8 foot piece of plywood, there is too much friction from the rubber on the bottom of the rails to overcome with the rail square. You will need to manually check with a large square to ensure those cuts are square. Overall I highly recommend the product. Great product, great price.

From a product perspective, these make rail handling SOOOO much easier and less annoying in general and particularly cuts down on the bending and stooping required from the original versions…an important consideration for us ‘older’ customers.
It’s such a wonderful and now rare thing to be able to buy British made anything. Benchdog Tools not only tick this box but also quality, design, value, innovation and although I haven’t needed it, I have heard, great customer service. They listen to feedback from us and act upon it to further fine tune their products. Last but far from least their products have style and look great.
I’ve just heard about their micro adjustable rail flip stop which I am now looking forward to owning.
