Very well thought out table. Wife bought it as a gift. She gets all the points! Yes it's heavy, that's a big part of why it's good. Makes it very sturdy with zero wobble. Get wheels if you think you'll have trouble moving it about or need to transfer a long distance. Mine mostly stays in my workshop which is small enough need to be flexible space wise. This is ideal as it hangs flat on the wall when needed. I'll be adding another one along with the RH fence extension. An outrigger with a top that the router plate can mount in would be great. I might just make one :)

Ultra MFT workstation.
I made an MFT a few years ago using track and fittings from another well known manufacturer in the UK. It was good but the Benchdogs Ultra MFT is in a class of its own. No looking back now it is absolutely superb. Upgrades to quad hinge now fitted including that micro adjust stop, excellent for taking off that fliss when fettling boards. I got the Valchromat top. I am well past the wrong side of 50 and the mft is heavy but rock solid once set up. Shipping was quick and hassle free, arriving well packaged. I can honestly recommend the Benchdog Tools Ultra MFT Workstation. 5 stars from me.

Far too heavy !!
Did not come assembled correctly. The unit is far too heavy to be useful. There are cheaper workstations that still offer good quality but at a cheaper price. More importantly, they are much lighter. This Workbench is far too expensive for what it is.
Hi Matthew. Can i ask you to contact us with not came correctly assembled so we can figure out what the problem is please. We do have one of the plates reversed for you to assemble this is prevent damage when shipping the item. As for the weight, yes this is a heavy table which we feel give it the sturdiness it needs and remember this is a table you only buy once and will not fail you in years to come.

Benchdog Tools Precision MFT 3 Top With Cutting Strip - Black Fibralux MR
I bought this mft top with additional dogs and was very pleased when it arrived last week with the replaceable cut strip which was an excellent addition, it looked great and the calibration of the holes where perfect and the dogs fitted like a glove with no movement when used, but I was really disappointed as allegedly it was warp free and I’ve only used it once outside in the garden and now it’s warped.
This is such quality and a pleasure to use there nothing on the market that can compare to this product ! I can only say I wish I had purchased this a while back ! Your engineering and detail pay dividends for every woodworker using this product in achieving precise cuts ! I will continue buying from your company because I know I’m buying the best !
