Introducing the MK3 Fence System for Systainer Sets — a compact, accurate and repeatable MFT fence system designed for precision woodworking, track saw cutting and use with MFT-style workstations.
This version is for the Systainer set and includes a Right Hand Fence System for added support throughout the cutting process. The main fence supplied with this system is 990mm total length and is supplied in 3 sections, making it ideal for compact storage, transport and use with Systainer-based workshop setups.
An MFT fence is a precision guide used on a Multifunction Table to help align your workpiece before cutting. It works alongside your guide rail, cutting strip and bench dogs, giving you a fixed reference edge for straight, square and repeatable cuts. Whether you are cutting sheet materials, cabinet components, timber or smaller workshop parts, a quality MFT fence helps improve accuracy, reduce set-up time and deliver consistent results.
The MK3 Fence System has been upgraded with an improved extrusion, featuring a wider front face for clearer laser-engraved scale markings and a completely flat reference surface for improved accuracy and usability. The fence is available with either metric or imperial scale markings, allowing you to choose the version that best suits your workshop and measuring preference.
The system also includes the strengthened, machined under-rail fence, giving the MK3 improved rigidity and durability for demanding workshop use. This makes it ideal for makers, woodworkers, cabinet makers and joiners who need a compact but dependable MFT workstation fence system.
The support dog has also been upgraded for improved alignment and flexibility. The support dog is now the same diameter as the fence dogs at 20.6mm, allowing it to be placed in any position within the dog hole while still matching the fence dog reference line. This helps keep the fence system accurately supported and aligned across different setups.
A key feature of the MK3 Fence System is the dedicated bevel cut markings on the scale. These angled measurement markings allow you to move your workpiece 20mm away from the cut edge, helping to prevent accidental cutting into your under-rail fence when making bevel cuts, while still maintaining an accurate measurement reference. Please note, this feature is designed for boards up to 20mm.
The included Right Hand Fence System provides additional support through the cutting process and is especially useful for waste-side cuts. It helps support the material on the offcut side of the blade for cleaner, more controlled cutting and is also ideal for making narrow cuts from 20mm, giving greater stability, accuracy and confidence when working with smaller or narrower workpieces.
