Custom MFT Table Builder Build your complete made-to-measure MFT table for woodworking, track-saw cutting and assembly. Our interactive Custom MFT Table Builder guides you through three connected stages: the supporting aluminium...
Start by entering the finished length and width for the rigid 8040 aluminium upper frame. You can then add a matching 18 mm Custom MFT Top and an adjustable-height supporting base with either lockable castors or adjustable feet. The selected table dimensions are carried through each stage automatically, helping to prevent ordering errors.
Prices and approximate weights update as you configure the frame, top and base. All displayed product prices include VAT; shipping is calculated separately.
Enter the total finished length and width in whole millimetres. We machine the extrusion to suit the selected corner connection.
The base will use the same finished length and width as this frame, preventing mismatched dimensions. The uprights fit inside the 8040 frame, so the finished-height calculation deducts only the 18 mm MFT top and the selected floor supports.
Base size: 1200 × 600 mm
Choose how your finished workstation will stand on the floor.
Two mid legs and the additional centre brace are included automatically when the finished length is greater than 2000 mm.

Packaging and any optional MFT top excluded.
Shipping is not included yet. We will add automatic worldwide shipping calculations in the next phase of this project.
Build your complete made-to-measure MFT table for woodworking, track-saw cutting and assembly. Our interactive Custom MFT Table Builder guides you through three connected stages: the supporting aluminium frame, a precision-machined MFT top and an adjustable-height base.
Configure the finished dimensions, structural supports, MFT hole pattern, top material, working height and floor supports. Choose lockable castor wheels for a mobile MFT workbench or adjustable feet for a stable workshop installation. The builder calculates the required components, approximate weight and VAT-inclusive price automatically, making it suitable for professional workshops, independent woodworkers and home woodworking enthusiasts.
Your table begins with a rigid supporting frame manufactured from 8040 aluminium extrusion. The profile is positioned with its 80 mm section vertically, producing a strong foundation that helps the MFT top remain flat and accurate during workshop use.
Enter the required finished length and width. The Frame Builder calculates the correct extrusion lengths and recommends the appropriate number of structural supports.
The builder automatically recommends mid supports based on the entered dimensions. Each support is cut to the correct internal frame width, positioned evenly, machined for quick-connect fixings and included in the configured price.
These supports reduce the unsupported area beneath the MFT top and help minimise sagging or loss of flatness. A recommended support can be removed if your installation already provides suitable support; a warning will appear where removing it could affect long-term stability.
The position and number of structural supports used in the ULTRA MFT Table Builder are based on a study of unsupported spans across different table sizes. The assessment considered the dimensions of the MFT top, the frame construction and the effect of typical workshop loads over time.
Using these findings, the Table Builder automatically determines when additional supports are required and positions them to reduce unsupported areas beneath the MFT top. This helps minimise deflection and long-term sagging while creating a rigid, stable working surface.
Because the supports are calculated from the dimensions entered, larger tables receive the additional reinforcement they need without adding unnecessary components to smaller configurations.
Corner Blox are selected by default and provide strong, accurately positioned frame joints. They include the required M12 bolts and are automatically accounted for when the extrusion lengths are calculated.
A TX50 driver or driver bit with a reach of at least 50 mm is required for assembly. You can remove the Corner Blox option if you intend to provide your own suitable connection system; the extrusion lengths will adjust automatically.
Machined slots can be selected independently for Long Side 1, Long Side 2, End 1 and End 2. Each selected rail costs £15 to machine. The slots can accommodate clamps underneath the frame and sliding nuts along the upper face.
Select MFT Top required to add a made-to-measure top. Its dimensions are taken directly from the frame configuration, helping to prevent sizing errors.
Four corner counterbore fixing holes for attaching the top to the ULTRA frame are included automatically at no additional cost.
Standard MFT provides the regular 96 mm grid of 20 mm dog holes.
Quad and Fence holes add the mounting holes required for easy installation of the Quad Hinge system. The Fence holes position the fence at the optimum distance from the hinge system, maximising the available cutting width.
An optional mint-green cutting strip can be added. The strip is 80 mm wide and recessed 8 mm into the top. Select from the available positions shown in the builder.
Where a top needs to be split for delivery, the system positions the panel joints and joining-plate fixings away from the cutting-strip area to maintain suitable strength.
Select Base required to turn the frame and MFT top into a complete freestanding woodworking workbench. The base is manufactured from rigid 4040 aluminium extrusion and calculated automatically from the frame dimensions.
Enter your required finished working height, measured from the floor to the upper surface of the MFT top.
Select lockable castors if you need to move the table around your workshop. Their height is included when calculating the leg lengths so the completed table reaches your selected working height.
Select adjustable feet for a stable stationary installation. They provide additional levelling and height adjustment of up to approximately 75 mm, helping to compensate for uneven workshop floors.
Longer tables require additional central support. Where necessary, the builder automatically adds two mid legs, mid-leg brackets, required fixings, extra castors or feet, split side braces and a front-to-back central brace. These components are included in the calculated base price and weight.
The builder displays separate prices for the ULTRA frame, Custom MFT top and supporting base, along with the combined price for the complete configured table.
The frame, top and base remain separate configured items in the cart so that all manufacturing specifications, weights and workshop information are recorded correctly. Displayed product prices include VAT; shipping is calculated separately.
Every ULTRA MFT table is manufactured to order using the measurements and options you provide. Before ordering, check the finished dimensions and working height, recommended supports, connection system, machining requirements, MFT top material and hole pattern, cutting-strip selection, floor supports and delivery or collection requirements.
Special requirements can be entered in the Order Notes field. Our team will review them before manufacture, although special requests cannot always be guaranteed.
Shipping is calculated separately according to packed dimensions, weight and destination. Large frames, MFT tops and complete table systems may require specialist delivery. Please contact us before ordering if you have unusual access requirements or require delivery outside our standard service area.
