What is the Hinge System? You have found it here if you are looking for the best accuracy when achieving the perfect 90° Cut on an MFT table. The Hinge System is the most versatile and easy-to-set-up system on the market. Using the QHS on our workstation and in line with our Fence system, you can create perfect, repeatable 90° cuts in unison.
Simple and easy to set up on the Job site, Workshop or Home hobby setup. To offer the best accuracy, the hinge systems are supplied with the Pin Slot & alignment pin and rail bolts, but additional rail track sets can also be purchased.
Accuracy adjustment can be made with one of our precision triangles, available here.

Please Note: This product is used for people who have the Quad & Fence holes already pre-drilled. As the mft3 table has stops already pre-installed, the use of plastic stops may not be required. When measuring for a track that works with an MFT table saw, you would need a track of 240mm minimum plus the width of the table.
Fantastic quality. Festool should take note: this is how you make an MFT hinge system. I love the instructions on YouTube by the way. It was great to watch it a few times while I put it together myself.

Super accurate and high quality hinge system
Super accurate and high quality hinge system which I use on my Benchdogs Ultra MFT. When used with the Benchdogs fence its helped save time ensuring all work pieces are square.
It would be even better if there was some form of quick release feature to get the track off the hinge system. My workbench is narrower than a 8x4 foot sheet so I have to disconnect the track currently when cutting those down.

This is a beautiful, simple, well made hinge. I'm surprised Festool couldn't have upgraded over the years. Only improvement that would be good is to offer a long track dog instead of the 2 used. Like the one Festool uses. Also getting hit with the US tariffs. Not a fault of the company. Just bad American policy.

Quad Hinge with table plates
Arrived well packaged and with care, quality is exceptional, finish is perfect as you would expect from a Benchdogs product. Would highly recommend.
I’ve been using the larger fence alone for a while. Having this side fence now lets me make smaller cuts on material by flipping boards over. Simple fix and works great.
