Please note: If you are sealing or varnishing the top, please be aware that this may cause inaccuracies in the holes due to the thickness of the coating applied. To overcome this, a BD reamer would resolve the hole size issue. Our MFT Top Reamer can be found here

I bought this replacement top for two main reasons. First, I wanted to use the Quad Hinge system, and instead of buying the jig from Benchdogs to modify the original Metabo top, it was only slightly more expensive to get this replacement top—with all the necessary holes pre-drilled for the Quad Hinge and other Benchdogs hardware.
Second, I wanted my MFT top to work seamlessly with the rest of the Benchdogs accessories I was purchasing at the time.
I would love to own the full Benchdogs MFT bench, but that was out of my price range. This replacement top was a great upgrade and a more affordable way to get much of the same functionality.

Great product fitted spot on.
I was a special commission for my Metabo MB100 table which Ralph and the team were able to make the required changes to the lines of dog holes and route out a specific section to accept a router lift and motor.

There’s too much play in the hing. I’m not sure if I’ve gotten a bad one or not, but the flip stop has play, as well as the micro adjustment. I went back to the old flip stops.
Hi Shuan. In with your flip stop you are supplied a few extra spring washers that can be changed out to reduce the play. there has to a eliment of movement in the thumb wheel otherwise this would not turn easier enough. For those that require a tighter tolorence the washers supplied are for that reason.

Overall a good design but there is some slop in the hinge mechanism that can introduce a small inaccuracy when positioning the track. I was able to wrap a single layer of painters tape around the long hinge screw that all but eliminated the play.
Wonderful tools, quality 👍 was hit with additional fees to get delivered DHL wasn’t to happy about but not your fault enjoying what you produce….. thanks
Great idea..great product. One thing though. You should mention that Americans will be subject to tariff . I had to pay $34 to US delivery company to receive it.
