Domino Base System for Festool DF500: Do not Buy!!
Excellently conceived and produced metal parts, but their use is limited by a lack of understanding the many applications of Festool Domino DF500. Fore example: accurately placing 3 sets of plunge and side cuts into 18mm MDF 430mm wide using the supplied plastic end pieces does not allow cutter access to the end cuts. Also a method of securing 950mm fences to 20mm dogs used on an MFT bench is not provided. Is it safe cutting side slots with an upside down Domino cutter? I have overcome these short comings at added costs.
The videos need to be reviewed, the camera position often prevents the observer from clearly seeing what the demonstrator is doing. Also rewriting the script would help understanding how your system works.
Benchdogs produce wonderful tools, but this one would require a complete rework without the current weak plastic bits. I could not recommend this system to anyone.

Does what it says on tin. Havent had any opportunity to use them yet and probably never will, but have placed them up against an existing door. I did notice that the position of the hinge blocks will need to be adjusted to allow for the existing door stop on the frame if not being removed. Maybe a small cutout on the top extrusion Jamb size would solve this?
Allways a systainer fan, but a bit of wasted space inside. A couple of unused slots/holes I have no idea what they are use for, and no space for the rebate blocks? Personally, I think I might find another use for this systainer. The 3 extrusions that link the whole thing together are too big for this systainer and come in a separate 'map' type case. As I use a set of Magic Gripper door clamps, a solution for my circumstance would be to use an XXL systainer so every thing fits in one box and/or use a mini systainer for the hinge blocks & tin of bits.
Very good tool but not perfect. The turn screws that hold the leaf depth guides in place can too easily, if knocked, work loose. To much lateral movement of the steel stop in the grove on the hinge block.
