The 1000mm Fence is a great piece of kit.
Perfectly straight, fit together exactly and a dream t use.
My only complaint is that the material support plates thumb screws are not staying in place. I hand tightened them when I assembled the whole thing.
After a hour or so of use the notched the plate had moved, one of the thumb screws had undone it self and I could not find it to save my life.
A shame really as I only had it for a couple of hours. Maybe a little rubber Gromit on the screw would keep it from unloosening.
I love that these are made from stainless steel instead of aluminum for the durability and general heft! Precise fit, not wobble but still easy to insert and remove from a 20mm hole.
Very well machined and along with the subplate makes a quick way to add the Incra LS positioner to your MFT / Paulk bench. With a standard MFT top and embedded router life, you can use this to easily increase the capacity of your router table by simply repositioning the fence on a further set of holes and then completely remove the fence when no longer routing and you want your table space back.
This makes it much quicker and easier to make repeated cuts as opposed to using dogs under the track and pulling the track up out of the holes each time. I am using the Bosch tracks, so much more convenient to quickly flip the track up and out of the way after each cut.
When combined with the left hand fence system and under rail support, this enables a quick and accurate way to cut narrow pieces repeated and quickly.
