The fence it self is of course great quality the problem is the one i have is the older longer version and its damaged so i ordered the new one that came over 2' shorter. I have the 118' fence system now im going to have to modify it somehow to make it work and if the cut is not dead on then the numbers will be off. Also the email i received when i asked what can be done and how do i return the shorter one i was told that there is nothing you guys can do and did not get instructions on how to return it. I would think your company would have keep some older style fence rails in stock for just in case. Now if someone needs to replace part of the fence they are screwed like me.. I'm not happy about this and how i was treated with a "oh well sorry" attitude and i have bought hundreds of dollars worth of tools from you but that might have to change.

Sorry you felt this way to write a 1 star review regarding the problem you have. I just want to take the time to respond. Back in 2024 we were informed by Dhl and all other couriers that parcels over a 1 m would incur additional charges for manual handling we had to make the decision to reduce the size of our fences to 950 mm as adding a further Ā£8.50 to the price of shipping a Fence wouldāve made the product far more expensive than we wouldāve been comfortable with. So reducing the size of the Fence was our only option. We created a blog page regarding this and we informed our customers with as much information as possible regarding the change. We do have a returns process and this is clearly on the website if you need to return an item but shipping from America wouldāve been far too expensive in our opinion.
If you wouldāve contacted us prior to the purchase regarding the damage you caused to your fence as there was of course a better option for a fix. You couldāve removed the damaged part of the fence of what we call the under rail and replaced it with the MK2 under rail Fence which attaches to the Fence this way you would had a quick fix at far less expense than you needed to spend, but unfortunately as you didnāt contact us so we werenāt able to offer this advice. The Fence is labelled as 950 mm in the title so this was clear for you to make the decision when buying.
As per our response to you Via email, we informed you of the change as mentioned above and we said a fix that you could have would be that you took 50 Millimetres from your original Fence and this would then lineup with your scale markings on the new Fence. The only issue would be the artwork would be slightly different but the scale markings would still be consistent. We felt that this was an adequate response to resolve the issue you had.
If you would like to return the Fence to us you are within your perfect right to do so and we can offer a refund for the Fence. if you would like a longer Fence to match your original Fence this is also possible but please be aware there is additional cost to the shipping compared to what you paid originally this option wouldāve been also mentioned to you if we were contacted prior to the purchase.
It really doesnāt matter how much you have spent with us on a product we were always Try our best to resolve any issues, but we need to know the issues to resolve them before hand. Please reach out to us via the email. We can give you some information on how to return the Fence.

Arrived in good time and so well packed. The assembly instructions with really clear photos were spot on and all parts included.
Once assembled and in place it is really rigid helped by the adjustable feet.
The layout of the dogholes at front and back edges means I can now cut wider materials than on my previous workbench even though it had a wider top.
I am really pleased to have chosen this Benchdogs bench.
Works perfect- I noticed the dogs were getting a bit tight to insert after the winter 20 minutes with the reamer and everything was as good as new.
