These Hinge Dogs are perfect and well made. This my second set, got my other work bench
This is the first item that I have purchased from Benchdog Tools and it will not be the last.
The kit is clearly top quality when you first see it and use it. The Rail Square clamped onto my track easily and very securely. A quick couple of cuts and measured 90 degrees perfectly. It took a couple of minutes to attach and calibrate the Repeat Stop. Once calibrated I can make multiple repeat cuts speedily and accurately. So simple to use but will save me a lot of time in the future.
Thanks to Hannah also, she responded to my queries before purchasing very promptly and my order arrived quicker than expected. It's great to be able to purchase top quality from an independent UK company.
Hinge dogs are a good idea,but there is too much lateral movement in the dogs.I think if the dogs were longer,with the end below the bench being threaded,a nut could secure the dog tightly to the bench top from the underside...
