Came very well packaged. Dog holes are extremely accurate. Have not tested measurement scales yet. Everything I have purchased from Benchdogs.uk.com has been well machined and surfaced and the markings are very readable.
These were a beautiful addition to my assembly table. They fit perfectly after getting all the holes drilled and chamfered.
A little pricy but the unit I received was very accurate, at least according to the certificate. The only missing feature, for me, would be to have a way to attach this to the guide rail, like the TSO MTR18
Fitted perfectly. I bought as I tried to modify the original top for the bench dogs rail hinge. Even with careful measurements and jigs. Didn’t get it quite right. The replacement top is excellent !
The MFT top is fantastic, unfortunately, the rail dogs are not so good. The design of them was changed, probably to cut costs, However, they said to give more height options. This design change means the dogs keep working loose, totally negating the reason for them. Shame really, other than that really pleased with them
Hi Gavin. Sorry you didn't like my email response regarding the change to the guide rail dogs. The change was due to feedback where the original design restricts the cutting of thinner material like 3mm hardboard. On the original design the lowest was 6mm which wasn’t giving sufficient support and grip to the board below the track. So removing the top part allowed the use of the other measurements to be utilised. There was a cost saving and this saving was passed onto the customers as the price has reduced from the original design. As for them coming loose if you use the supplied hex key this allows you to tighten sufficiently to eliminate this. If you still have problems let us know and we can send you some lock washers but this generally isn’t required.
