Benchdog Hinge Dog - Easy Access Track Hinge The Benchdog Hinge Dogs system is a smart solution for anyone working in tight spaces. It allows your guide track to hinge open,...
Designed to work seamlessly with our fence system, it enables the hinge track connector to sit close to your fence while maintaining full functionality and stability.
Setting up is simple: when positioning the dogs with your workpiece, tighten the grub screw once the track is seated on the workpiece. This makes setup quick, precise, and hassle-free.
The Hinge Dog is available in 95mm and 65mm height versions. We initially introduced the 95mm version, followed by the 65mm option for customers who did not have sufficient clearance beneath their MFT top to accommodate the taller model. The 65mm version can cut material up to 25mm thick, which is more than sufficient for most sheet goods.
Proudly made in the UK from high-grade aerospace aluminium and finished with a durable black anodised coating, and the dogs are made from 303 Stainless steel the Benchdog Hinge Dog combines strength, precision, and sleek aesthetics to complement any workshop setup.

To be compatible with our Hinge Dogs, your worktop(s) must be fitted with suitable holes on both sides. As shown in the video above, these holes have been standard on our Ultra MFT worktops since 28.11.25 and were subsequently introduced across the rest of our worktop range.
If your worktop was supplied by us, manufactured prior to this date, additional holes will need to be added. We can supply a 3D-printed jig to help you accurately add the required holes to your existing worktop (bought from us).
